Franco Curletto burst onto the hairdressing scene at a very young age. He began working in highly established institutions in the sector at the age of 13, learning the technical foundations and refining his natural propensity for styling. After turning 16, he worked with well-known fashion company Pitti Immagine, contributing to exhibitions, fashion shows and social events.
His hard work paid off. In 1986, renowned fashion magazine Metamorphose declared him as “the new talent of 2000”. His success became official in 1995 during Cosmoprof – the world’s leading professional trade fair for cosmetics and beauty – where he was announced as a representative of L’Oreal Professionnel.
Intuition means breaking the mould, tearing down the way things have always been done, building upon experience and experimenting with the unknown. This is the only way to get better results and keep on inventing until perfection is achieved.
Curletto’s exploratory research delves into various fields, such as art, cinema, music and culture. The complexity of a finished look is simplified through the process of abstraction, one that recognises current trends and the needs of modern women.

His experience as a hairstylist has taken him from living rooms and runways, to stages and photo shoots with the world’s largest cities as a backdrop, such as Paris, Shanghai, London and New York.
As the global representative of Kérastase, his experience continues to grow and takes him around the world, although he spends most of his time in his salons in Turin and Milan. They aren’t just the result of a family tradition lasting three generations, but also of an entrepreneurial spirit which led to the birth of the Franco Curletto United Group – a brand which today has numerous affiliates.
